The City Celebration follows our annual City-Wide Volunteer Day, and seeks to bring together our community to celebrate our city.

Bi-Annually, on the first Saturday of June
The Wildlife Celebration is an opportunity for our community to learn how to be better stewards of our natural resources by participating in fun crafts and activities and learning from our guest educators.
Annually, on the first Tuesday of August
National Night Out brings together our first responders, schools, and nonprofits to create a safe and vibrant community.
Over 3,000 residents come out to celebrate through our spooktacular trunk or treat event with food trucks, music, a costume contest, and a haunted house.
Halloween Night
Waterford's most beloved event is the Christmas Parade and Market. With lots of great parade entries, and entire Christmas village in downtown filled with food, vendors, and kids activities, this is one event you don't want to miss!
Join your community in brightening Christmas spirit around town by entering our lights competition, or use the driving route to enjoy the spectacular displays.

Annually
The Comfort Kit Drive is where we assemble backpacks full of items that meet the needs of children entering the foster system. We collect many of the items that go into these backpacks throughout the year.
As Needed
Occasionally, we will partner with other agencies to bring an educational event to our community that addresses topics that are relevant to the community.
Quarterly
Donating blood is giving the gift of life. Love Waterford hosted blood drives quarterly for the community during the pandemic, and will be partnering with the High School going forward.
November 1- December 18
Every Christmas, generous community members sponsor families in our community and provide them with gifts, food, and items of need to brighten Christmas morning.
The Week before Christmas
The holidays can be hard on our neighbors experiencing poverty and food insecurity. Join us in providing 125 families with all the groceries they need for a Christmas feast during our annual Christmas Meals event.

The Love Our Schools team supports the success of students in Waterford Unified School District by providing mentors for students and supporting school instruction and programs
The Love Our Kids team meets the needs of foster and at-risk youth in our community by walking beside struggling families.
