Join thousands of your fellow citizens and many different businesses and organizations in this fun, family-friendly Halloween event in downtown Waterford. Trunk or Treat begins at 6pm for participants, and wraps up at 8pm. Prizes will be given for the best costume (by age group), the best group costume, the best pet costume, the best trunk design, and the best trunk experience. Food trucks and local businesses will provide dining options during the event. A family-friendly haunted house will hosted by Temple Bookkeeping.

We are so grateful to consistently have 40-50 amazing trunk hosts every year. While we collect candy donations from the community to supplement everyone's candy needs for night, most of the 100,000 pieces of candy given out at Trunk or Treat are provided by the hosts. In order to show them a bit of gratitude, we have an award for the "Best Trunk Design" and "Best Trunk Experience." We know this is just a small gesture in recognition of the time, creativity, and expense they put into their participation, so we hope you will help us in showing gratitude toward them on halloween by extending your own thanks and appreciation when you visit their station.
You're invited to enter Waterford's costume contest, which will take place during Trunk or Treat. To enter, come to the stage at 7pm; no registration is necessary. Winners will take home a prize basket and bragging rights. Categories are listed below.
After our judges announce the winners of the costume contest, they will announce the winners for "Best Trunk Design" and "Best Trunk Experience." Trunk hosts may enter the costume contest if they have someone to oversee their vehicle and candy distribution during that time. Trunk hosts do not need to be present at the stage to enter or win the two trunk contests; judges will deliver the gift baskets to the winners.
